NCCER Construction Site Laborer Level 1, covering:
- 行业介绍 - Building Materials, Fasteners and Adhesives.
- 混凝土性能 -描述属性, 特征, 水泥的用途, 聚合, and other materials used in different types of concrete. Covers procedures for estimating concrete volume and testing freshly mixed concrete, as well as methods and materials for curing concrete.
- Site Layout One–Differential leveling - Covers the principles, equipment, and methods used to perform differential leveling. Also covers the layout responsibilities of surveyors, 现场工程师, and carpenters; interpretation and use of site/plot plan drawings; the use of laser instruments; and methods used for on-site communication.
- Handling and Placing Concrete - Covers 工具, equipment, and procedures for safely handling, placing, and finishing concrete. Describes joints made in concrete structures and the use of joint sealants.
- Foundations and Slab-on-Grade - Covers basic site layout safety, 工具, and methods; layout and construction of deep and shallow foundations; types of foundation forms; layout and formation of slabs-on-grade; and forms used for curbing and paving.

Is the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination required for this course?
No, because of the length of the course, the Texas Department of State Health Services does not require that students provide proof of a bacterial meningitis vaccination.

This class is three weeks long for a total of 120 contact hours of training.

Tuition for the class is $1377.

Tuition assistance may be available through Texas 劳动力 or through the Port Arthur Economic Development Cooperation. Please call the College for further information.

All training supplies will be provided.
Are there specific attendance or grading policies?
Students must complete each course during the session in which they are enrolled. No partial credit will be awarded. Students falling below 70% of attendance will be automatically dropped from the course. Students must maintain a grade average in excess of 70 in order to pass the course. Only students who successfully pass the course will be awarded NCCER Certification.
